Honey Chicken with sesame seeds


  1. Chicken strips – 250 gms
  2. Garlic – 10
  3. Milk – 1 tbsp
  4. Salt – ¼ tsp
  5. Maida / corn flour – 2 tbsp
  6. Pepper crushed – 15
  7. Salt – ¼ tsp
  8. Honey – ½ cup
  9. Soya sauce – 2 tbsp
  10. Pepper powder – ½ tsp
  11. Apple ceder vinegar – 1 tbsp
  12. Sesame seeds – 2 tsp



  1. Grind garlic with milk to make a paste, marinate chicken strips with this mixture and ¼ tsp salt. Keep aside for an hour.
  2. Mix maida or corn flour with crushed pepper and salt. Dip all the chicken strips one by one in the flour mixture and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, fry coated chicken strips in batches.
  4. In another pan fry sesame seeds ( I used black & white ) for a few minutes, keep the flame to the lowest, add soya sauce, honey, vinegar and pepper powder, let it boil, add the fried chicken pieces mix well and let the gravy coat the chicken pieces completely, off the fire..
  5. Serve them warm.
