Fish fry

Ingredients

  1. King fish ( Naimeen) pieces– ½ kg
  2. Shallots – 6
  3. Garlic – 6
  4. Ginger – 2” piece
  5. Chili powder – 1 tsp ( you may add more if you prefer)
  6. Pepper – 1 tsp
  7. Curry leaves – a few ( optional)
  8. Salt – to taste ( 1 tsp )
  9. Lemon juice – ½ lemon
  10. Oil – 1 tb sp – to fry

Instructions

  1. Grind 2 – 9 ingredients in a mixer, marinate the fish with this. Keep in the fridge for 1 hour.
  2. Apply oil in a tawa and shallow fry the fish, turn and fry again till it becomes brown on both the sides.
